The famous Zoom issue with the Bernard Pierre Wolff photographs that inspired Peter Saville for the Joy Division Closer cover.
Peter Saville: “The Photos came from a very trendy art magazine called Zoom that had been lying around my studio in London and Bernard Pierre Wolff had done a series of photographs in a cemetery in Italy. I don’t know to this day whether they were real or not - some of them you thought, he’s set that up - that’s just models, covered in dust.”
A good copy. Cover showing edge wear, some shelf wear. A small rough white patch in the lower left corner, covering the B.P. initials of B.P. Wolff. Probably leftovers of a price tag. Fingerprints on back cover. Interior clean. The technical/information at the back, which is printed on different paper, has browned at the edges.
