Underground. Tijdschrift voor literatuur, film, muziek en beeldende kunsten. Jaargang 2, Nr 2, februari 1998. A4, saddle stitched.

A fine copy.

Underground was a Flemish monthly with a focus on literature, movies, music, and the arts.  This issue is of special interest because it contains some of the earliest black and white photographs of Elke Andreas Boon and an early version ('Joelieja') of Dimitri Verhulst's short story 'Sketches of Spain' that appeared in his 1999 short story collection, De kamer hiernaast.

  • Dimitri Verhulst, 'Joelieja'
  • Elke Boon, 'Mensen' (photo portfolio)
  • Het eeuwig korte leven van Ian Curtis
  • The End of Violence - Wim Wenders
