One of three great black and white press photos of Dutch actress Sylvia Kristel, this one in the company of French director Claude Chabrol, at the premiere of La Femme fidèle, a film by Roger Vadim, on August 25, 1976 in Paris.
Two years after her breakthrough role in Just Jackin's Emmanuelle (1974), Kristel starred in Vadim's La femme fidèle, an adaptation of Choderlos de Laclos' Les Liaisons dangereuses.
n.p. [Jean-Claude Woestenlandt?] n.p., 1976. Glossy print, 29,5 x 21,3 cm. Two copyright stamps of Paris-based Stills photo agency to verso. Sticker of Media Press International to verso. 'Sylvia Kristel' written in pencil on verso
Left upper corner very slightly creased. Some light curling to edges. Some 'clouding' at the top of the print, probably caused by developer fluid. Else a very good print.
