A fine copy. Clean, tight. Tip of lower right cover corner and spine ever so slightly touched. Else fine, which makes this a real collectors item, especially since this is an interesting bootleg anthology of fetish art by several artists: Robert Bishop, Gene Bilbrew (ENEG), Eric Stanton, and others, sold and distributed under the 'Bishop brand'. Typically for a bootleg edition, the quality of paper and print is considerably lower than the original House of Milan productions.

The larger part of the images (pp. 1-91) are reproductions of work by Robert Bishop featuring many of his bondage trainers, harnesses, and gags, accompanied by short texts in German. Pages 92-117 include work by other artists. The catalog closes with a reproduction in black and white of some episodes and some pages and panel of the Complete Fanni Hill series. Some panels have been rearranged.
Robert K. Bishop (1945-1991) aka "the Bishop" or simply "Bishop" was a prominent bondage artist known for his illustrations of restrained and gagged women in sinister clair/obscur settings, earning him the nickname "The Rembrandt of Bondage" in the BDSM literature community. He worked as an illustrator for House of Milan during the 1970s and 80s, where he created monochrome pieces using pencil, ink, and airbrush, giving his artwork a soft texture and almost 3D appearance. Bishop's imagery often featured extreme, almost sadistic bondage, and he became known for "inventing" gags and restraints for his predominantly female subjects. His work was out of print by the mid-1990s following his untimely death by suicide at the age of 46.
