Rather than offering a conventional retrospective, it reflects on Kippenberger’s critical engagement with meaning, translation, and authorship.

Structured in thematic sections corresponding to the exhibition, the volume combines scholarly perspectives with visual documentation. It concludes with a photographic essay by Elfie Semotan, offering an intimate portrait of the artist beyond the studio and exhibition space.
